First Horn of 2021

I’ll be honest enough to admit I haven’t made a horn in about a year. Between Covid, all the stuff going on this summer around the country, the election, getting Covid myself, and some other family health issues with my parents, I have had the equivalent of “writers block”. I admire all of you who have been super productive during this time, but I certainly haven’t been one of them. Anyway, it feels good to finally crank one out. Have another one on deck. Here’s to getting the artistic juices flowing again in 2021. 👍

I like it...good shape, nice plug, and good coloring. Good way to break out of the COVID doldrums!

Ditto what Tim said. Well designed, love the scrim and treatment for the spout area. Like it!

That is a fine looking horn. I especially like the engraving. God Bless, Marc

Not for sale. This was an order that came in from a referral, with a tight turnaround.
The Sort of thing I probably needed to get me back in the mix.
