strap attachment parts
« on: March 26, 2021, 09:58:45 PM »
Probably a dumb question but what are these little attachment rings called?  Where can they be ordered?

Thanks in advance.

Ken

I believe I have an old flask or two with little “split rings”
 used there.
A hardware should have those.

Any craft store should have them. Just make a copy of the picture you posted and take it with you.

Thanks.  I should have been a little clearer.  I don't just need the little ring.  I need the part that threads into the flask.  I'll try looking for a "ball Post".

Thanks again,
Ken

I believe most of mine solder into place? A screw in post and nut would be a slick repair though.

This is correct. What ever is used should be soldered in place and to seal up the hole. Make sure you wash any and all powder residue out before using the heat.
