pure curiosity--Leman/Conestoga

Just curious.  I have a little, late percussion marked on both the lock and barrel "Conestoga Rifle Works" and also stamped "Lancaster, PA" on the barrel.  Full stock, no cap box, no embellishments.  As you likely know, this was a trade name of Henry Leman and he reportedly used it for his bottom end rifles.  Just wondering, are there any more rifles similar to this one out there, so marked on both the barrel and lock?  Here's a rifle that was made in relatively substantial numbers, but I've not seen others marked both places.  Thanks, JWH

I'll try to get some pics up soon.  The only marks on the gun other than what I said are an eight-pointed star made the most simple way with 4 straight lines  right at the rear of the trigger guard, tiny on the wood, and a distinct 6-pointed stamped star (Star of David-type) on the left side near the rear crossbolt, about 1/4" in size.  Maybe lend lease for the 6-Day War.  Never saw another mark on a Kentucky identical to it.  I suspect the little 8-pointed star may have been applied by the stocker; perhaps the 6-pointed one is some sort of inspector's mark or contract mark.  Any ideas?  Off to work on pics.  JWH
