KRA presidents display
« on: June 28, 2021, 08:53:40 PM »
Last weekend was the KRA annual meeting. There was an amazing collection of Kentucky pistols on display with examples of nearly every region of the country. They ranged from the golden age through the 19th century. I could’ve studied them for hours. Thanks to all who participated. Nice to see everyone again.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Yeah... great show... kind of had to shake the rust off to go to a large gun show again. Shelby Gallien

I feel sure the KRF will offer a CD very soon. They were still photographing the pistols mid-day Friday. That CD will be well worth the cost.

The Kentucky Rifle Foundation will be offering a CD of the pistol display. KRA members were generous in their support and we were able to photograph and measure about seventy pistols, from the Rev War to Smoky Mountain bear pistols. We always try to have it for sale by the CLA show in August but this one might be a little longer.

There were 69 pistols in total on the display. It will probably be a long time before these many great pistols will be displayed together again. The good news is the KRF is making a CD with 4 pictures of each of these great pistols. There will be a top, bottom, left and right side shot of each one. Ric Lambert did the photography so you know the pictures will be good. I am not sure what the schedule will be for publishing the CD but it should not take to long before it comes out.
