Doing a little stock layout

I have started a new project and I thought I would share how I layout the ram rod, Lock, triggers and the guard. I use an 8x32 front lock bolt which measures right at 3/16”. At the muzzle I mark my web thickness at 1/8”. This allows for 1/8” tall tab height on the thimbles and barrel lugs.
With all the talk about web thickness I thought I post pictures of my process. Not saying this is the only way to do the layout but how I do it.

Jim, thanks for taking the time to do that. It is very informative. I have never precisely marked the sear location on the outside of the lockplate. I will in the future.
