I wonder what kind of paint was used. Something unique to me that I have never seen before, painted or skrimmed is a view of one flower from the back. A very nice touch on a very nicely done horn.

I asked Carla about circa 18th paint and she says it was more than likely oil. Which was/is Linseed Oil based.
