Building a period Germanic Fowler or Pistol from the original arms as study pieces for students to work from – Ron Scott. Molds are being prepared to reproduce the mounts for both the fowler and pistol in steel. Decisions about  barrels and locks should be made by the time of the August CLA show. Ron has a very large collection of European Walnut stocks for either the fowler or pistol available to seminar members at a discounted rate. Students from previous Germanic Flintlock seminars are welcome to bring unfinished projects to work on as an option to starting a new project. Part of the materials package will be multiple photos for study, plus casts of carving and engraving on the originals. As in previous seminars, Ron will be available for mentoring on this project though its completion. Please call with any questions at 541-941-0395 or email Ron at ronscottflintlocks@gmail.com. A listing of necessary tools and materials will be sent to participants once registration is complete.
