Ed you can solder apiece of steel on the bar of the trigger.
Then you can file it so it is just a touch off the sear. That will increase your leverage,and give you a better trigger pull.

Alacran, I took time today and replaced the trigger and did manage to take a bit of the play out but without including the spring which Bob suggests there will be play as the sear moves alot from rest to 1/2 cock. Upon going to 1/2 cock to full cock there is minimal play and the pull is lessened considerably. Thanks for pointing this out. I have no problem shooting this and may add the spring at some time but for now I am fine.
