Does anyone have photos and the proper length for the tang on an 1803 Harpers Ferry rifle. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t have info on length, but I do have pictures of originals. I’ll see if I can PM you a picture or two this evening.

From an 1804 dated rifle: The tang measures 3-1/8" long by 9/16" wide, with the end rounded. Sides are parallel.
