Newtire, I can make a mainspring, a frizzen spring, or even a sear spring. There are lots of gunsmiths here who are much better at it than I am.
Some of us are gunsmiths, some of us are gun stockers, some of us are hand workers, some use power tools, some build from scratch and some have have various tasks done for them.
This is a fun forum with room for everyone with an interest in the American Longrifle, and a great source for information and products.
You are welcome here. However, for a new guy "So, the real question here is, who on here is a "real gunmaker" and who can make a spring for this guy?" is a pretty uninformed remark.
