Wow, that's gorgeous.   

Just curious... does the filler piece Chris made affect your ability to see the sights?  I would have assumed a filler piece that was flush with the barrel, so as not to interfere with sighting.
If it was easy, everyone would do it.

My 1st was also a T/C Hawken in a 54 cal kit back in 1979.. I often wonder where muzzleloading would be with out the T/C Hawken.  Over 1 million sold, so it would have had to have had a major effect on where we are today in muzzleloading. Still a great shooting rifle!

Assuming he still has the same sight as a regular Kibler they would stand high enough the plug piece would not be visible.

Man, you really have to respect a guy who would put so much work into his craft!
