1841 Riflemans Pouch

Recently completed 1841 Riflemans pouch and sling w/repro peace flask. Hand sewn with linen - double bag/bellows construction. Custom built for good friend to match his 1841 New Jersey altered Whitney 1841 "Mississippi" Rifle.

Very nice! I made up 2 last year and hunt with one of them. I use the same flask but made up a adjustable 3 position traditional spout...just because it looks cool. I was able to find white leather straps on ebay also to finish the look. These make nice compact day pouches.

My 1841 pouch arrived today. To say it's outstanding is an understatement. I couldn't be more pleased. Perfect size, great leather, great workmanship, perfect understanding and execution of his subject.
