Freestanding Gunstocker Bench ideas

I have an idea of buying a pipe jack welding a metal plate to the top of the metal "V" drill a hole in the center of the plate and attach a pattern makers vise to it. Then drill a hole in the feet so it can be bolted to the floor. Add a stand alone wooden stand that is height adjustable as a support for the forearm.

I was actually wondering where I would go on the forums to get some of these bench plans? OP mentioned a lot in the archives but I must be searching wrong because I can't seem to find them.
