Rifle in prigress part two
« on: August 11, 2008, 02:36:54 AM »
The rifle is not finished yet, just thought you might like to see a few more pictures.  I will try to get them up in the scroll form.  If I do I have Dave B to thank.

The only thing left on the butt stock is to put the finished screws in, engrave the tang, and put the antique finish on it.

Pretty darn nifty David.  I prefer this finish - a little more subdued.  It enhances your excellent carving, and does not diminish the figure at all.  Very well done.

Art is not an object.  It is the excitement inspired by the object.

Holy Cow! Somebody sawed your gun in half, right behind the pan!

Just kidding David, I know that's one of your twicet barrel rifles.  As always, your work is awesome and inspiring.  Thanks for sharing.
