In my opinion that is the best gun Jerry ever made.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

Jere and I were good friends. What most people today don’t realize is that Jere made every single part of his rifles all by himself.  A true master craftsman and artist.

Thanks for sharing Art.  He was a master craftsman for sure.  He shared a lot of valuable information on the board.

Jerry was a true friend to many of us contemporary builders.  He was extravagant with his praise of other's work (mine particularly) and offered much appreciated constructive critique.  He is missed here.  And I agree with Mike...this is a special rifle.

Art is not an object.  It is the excitement inspired by the object.

Jerry used to attend the Engravers Guild Show and Meeting at the Las Vegas Winter show and his absence is evident. Greatly missed and a master craftsman he  certainly was one of a kind. He was always helpful and was generous with his talents and knowledge.

It was about a year ago. He was in Hospital for an operation.
