Well hello to all. Recently acquired a .54 cal rifle, 1 1/8 barrel 32 inches long. Curly maple stock, back action lock.
Lock is marked H. Hendricks Verona Wis. Seller stated it's a contemporary rifle. So trying to determine it's age?
Thanks

Looks contemporary to me; possibly mid 1900s reclamation project. Can you show more of the breech and barrel from the top?

Barrel breech looks like a CW Springfield.

Seller's photo, so will take more photos when it arrives. I have this view as well.
