38” gain twist barrel. We’ll see what she can do.

Looks great. Would love to see more pics when possible. 62s are my favorite hunting calibers

Isn't that a conical twist for a .62".  The .50 cal. Sharps had a 36" twist.

Got a chance to burn some powder. First load
95 gr ff.  , ticking patched ball,range 100 yds.
First shot 18” low and centered
Filed sight
Second shot 6” low and centered
Filed sight
Third shot in a 1” bull  😊
I like the recipe so far

Sounds like a great start. I usually fire 3 shots for a 'round' group before filing sights.
