It is 13" around the outside curve and 10 1/2" tip-to-tip. the plug is Pine held in by 9 wooden pegs, 3 groups of 2 and 1 of 3, it is 3" in diameter. The extension is held in by 10 wooden pegs. The neck was stained and the body finished with AF followed by Brown shoe polish on all.

Very nice horn. The lobed extension is certainly eye catching. Nice coloration also.

Interesting concept of mating two horns together to get a lobed base.

I was trying to get another inch or so on the horn. Might be looked at as a horn that had the lobe broken or cracked and this is a replacement.
