Bag and Powderhorn Setup
« on: October 21, 2022, 05:34:49 PM »
This is my current setup for my .38 caliber Lancaster "percussion conversion" rifle.

I picked up this double pouch from Eric Ewing back in August. It is really, really well made. The attention to all the details by Eric is exceptional.

The horn is an antique I picked up a while back from an auction in the northwest, if I remember correctly it was from a collector in Washington State. I added an iron "staple" where there were already two holes for a simple strap I cut for the horn from a piece of brown died buckskin.

Nice looking kit. Now it just needs some squirrels to go with it.

Is that a double bag? And if you don't care could you message me what that bag runs? Looking for a double bag for my Fowler.

Yep, it is a double pouch. You can see his other work, prices, and what he currently has for sale here:
