York rifle question.
« on: November 26, 2022, 04:12:48 PM »
I like the lines of the York's style rifles but most of them I've seen are .50 or lower caliber. Would it be appropriate to have a large bore early York rifle?

Oh yeah. Some of the early Schroyers were big bored guns. Most York kits are more “Golden age”, post Revolutionary War, and a little more slender than the “early Lancaster” kits.
