You know there may be some flaws, but others may not notice them.  If you look at originals there are flaws and mistakes. You are doing what you like to do, my suggestion is not to worry about the flaws and keep going at it as long as you can.

Kinda in the same boat Yip. I built a table just high enough to sit on a chair and slide under it to work at the vice. Its not as good as standing but it is what it is and I will learn to live with it. Keep on keeping on.  ;) :)

Looks good to me. The most important part is, are you having fun? For me that's what its all about.

Don't see anything to laugh about, slow can be aggravating but is sometimes better/helpful.

Looks good from here Brother.  I have always had to do alot of my benchwork sitting down, so I know what yer talking about.  Everything is different.
I recently had to stop work on a rifle project I had just started due to severe back pain.  Been on a steroid program, might try to do something today.
Hang in there and best of luck.

Looks good to me!
Yip, I have an original George Weiker Bucks County rifle, and good pictures of a second one. His guns are very much traditional Bucks County style, so if you need a picture of any area for your rifle, just ask here, or PM me, and I'll be happy send you some pictures.

Looks like your further along than mine, and I bought the barrel over 20 years ago! That looks like it’s coming along nicely, an hour a day adds up quick. I get only an hour a week sometimes. Good luck with your project!

NEVER, ever, never, never, never stop!  I have MS and I'm still fortunate that I can walk mebby 150yds on smooth\short grass\paved flat areas. I can still stand for a decent amount of time. It took me forever.....I estimated 300 hours...to build a simple Lehman style rifle. Rifle came out fine (good enough for me) and shoots great!

NEVER EVER stop!!

Yip it looks real good to me....I'm currently building a North West trade gun. Since I messed my back up. I can't seem to stand for very long. So like you I'm plugging a long at it and I do mean plugging like a snail....lol

Nothing to laugh at yet, Yip.  All of us are aging, need to make adjustments as we do.  Heck, I'm having trouble just holding a chisel, much less putting it where I want it to cut!  Danged ol' AO tremors are getting to me.

Yip,
Like Craig said, we are all aging and getting older with all that comes with it! You and all our compadres thatvwork under other than ideal conditions are an inspiration to the rest of us. I built my bench specifically so I could sit on a stool or bar chair and still work on a longrifle looking “sort of” down. Keep up the great work! Please keep us up on your progress on this neat BC rifle.
Merry Christmas!

I'm at the point where I just watch work being done by others & admire their work when posted. ;)
