Assembled flintlock musket

 I have a gun that was assembled from parts, maybe post rev war. Has a second model brown bess lock on it, and you can see the faint Tower letters on the tail of the lock. Barrel is 42 inches long but not a brown bess barrel. the barrel bands, butt plate and trigger guard are brass, and kind of homemade. Has a bayonet lug. What would this gun be classified as?

I don't know. the trigger guard is like on a Charleville  musket, but smaller, and made of brass. The buttplate is made of sheet brass, and very simple. Overall the gun is very well made

Mid 1790s, About 98% of these assembled muskets were made to satisfy the first Militia Act in 1792.
That is a particularly nice one!

 I will probably be shooting this one soon. My friend in Delaware has a supply of genuine Dupont black powder, not that  fake stuff, and he will bring it to me next time he comes down to Louisiana
