A flat Powder Horn
« on: April 23, 2023, 12:46:04 AM »
This is a celtic themed powder horn I just completed. Though it's for sale I wanted to share it here as well. I didn't flatten the horn myself; that will be a skill to work on soon I think.

It’s a real beauty Bob, love the Celtic theme, a favorite of mine. I’ve only made one flattened horn, a small priming horn I gave to one of my Sons. That was some time ago but I used a heat gun, a wooden insert, and slowly tightened it in a vise, and it worked.

Thanks guys- working on a flat horn was a nice change from the round horns. I am glad I decided to give it a try. I think another is on the horizon.
