patch box release buttom

  i inlayed a bean patch box on my Kible mountain rifle and looking for a simple release button the easier the better.

I have made them from grinding down a large nail. Not too hard at all.  Hershel House makes in his Kentucky Rifle dvd that was two pieces.

MBS has a spring steel release listed with their southern patchboxes.I have used several of them and they work fine.
AS mentioned, the one made from nail are traditional too, just whatever you like.
