Colonial Bible

There was a gentleman at the CLA show this past August who was hand binding a colonial Bible.  He was selling them as well as some related books - a hymnal perhaps.  He was in the side room across the open area from Homer Dangler.  I didn't get contact information but should have. Does anyone on ALR know know him or have contact information?

Sounds like Ken Scott. Don't know that for sure, but sounds like him. If it isn't Ken, bet he would know who it was. Look him up on the CLA Artisan List  ;).

Those are really beautiful. I traded for one and some of his pamplets. He has some great looking and reading 18th century pamplets on religon and other stuff. He is a heck of a nice guy too.

Back in the spring at Boonesboro, I was gifted one of his 1733 New Testaments. 

It is one nice bible. 

I also have a 1611 reproduction that DeLay Sayers in Texas recovered for me with a period binding.

I find James' bibles easier to read, because the font is larger...  (Old Eyes)
It doesn't take long to get use to the f and s looking the same.
