It looks a very good book, Niall.

All the best for Christmas,

Yes, it does, Richard. 500 pages , lots of great illustrations and a good back story. I've ordered a copy even though I've never had a particular interest in powder horns. Time to learn, I suppose.  :)

Many happy returns for the Season.

Niall,
when you get the book and have it digested, Can you give us a review?  I am sort of wavering and wondering how it compares to the "Powder Flask book by Rawlins, Rawlings??  Forget the name!

Can do, Richard.... ;)  This new book does what it says on the tin....British Powder Flasks.....The Rilings book is more general, I think.
