Greene Cornett
« on: August 22, 2008, 05:46:32 AM »
I'm looking for additional info or pics of guns made by Gunsmith named Greene Cornett.  He built rifles in Leslie or Perry county KY in the late 1800s.  They are very similar to WA county TN guns.
ANy help or information is much appreciated.

I made some photographs of one of the rifles at a KRA show.  I have some fuzzy pictures around here somewhere with details of the tang, toe plate, trigger guard, nose cap, sights, thembles, and trigger guard.  I also made a drawing of this rifle so I could duplicate it this fall.  Someone deleted the photographs from my memory stick, so I do not have any digital images now.  What info are you looking for concerning the rifles?  I am close to getting started on my rifle, but haven't been able to put my hands on the drawing yet, but it is here somewhere.
