Here are my meager assortment of antique inlays. Notice the deer, dog and escutcheon all have cast spikes on them. The mustache and tulip inlays don't. The mustache inlay I found at a table in some stuff at Kempton this year. The tulip came from the old stock. I want to peel off the turkey to make copies of it and use it for future work. The old stock came to me by a round about way and had a wonderful side opening patch/cap box on it. I have copied it and put it on a rifle and have plans to use it again.

Old stocks are a  value to me. They show me how things were done back in the day, provide a pattern and generate a train of thought that takes me to creative avenues and allows me to explore possibilities
