how many times?
« on: December 10, 2009, 05:55:06 PM »
I have a Pedersoli Hawken that i stripped and Tru-oiled.  I dont like the way it came out. I want to do it over after the hunting season is over.  Is there any draw back from stripping it again?
Will it sofetn the wood in any way?

I think you'd have to strip it more than twice before you noticed any softening of the wood.

You won't soften the wood, maybe the crisp edges and details but not the wood. Info is based on over 40years as a profesional furniture re-finisher.
