Barn Gun needs repair

Hi all!
I like barn guns and here is a pistol made from parts, think the brass lock is from a Frensch maker and it started as a flintlock.The pistol is probably a scandinavia made?The tang is lengded see the nice brazing ;)

that tang extension is most interesting!  I have to wonder if the person who did that was a wood worker?  Almost reminds me of a 'mortise and tenon' joint.

That's a cool hammer. Owner must know to never to let the hammer down without the nipple in it's place.
