Looking to use this on a percussion build.  Anybody know who made this lock?

I do believe you are correct.

I found an old magazine ad for their locks and tangs with this exact lock pictured.

Thanks

It is a Griffith.I sent them some of my 1075 and they had one of my locks and I told them how to make the mainsprings and it helped them. They were two older men at that time. That lock is representative of a lot of locks seen on American muzzle loaders, functional and nothing more.I would checker the hammer spur with a fine line layout.

Fine gentlemen. George was a good friend.
I believe their lock and breech offerings were highly regarded.
