Smoothrifle build
« on: January 17, 2024, 02:26:12 AM »
I have swapped and bartered my way into a Kibler Colonial stock, .58 smoothbore barrel, and lock. A buttplate also. I am thinking of building it as a smoothrifle for my daughter, but want to mash it up a bit and make it not look exactly like a Kibler Colonial. Anyone here have any experience with swapping out the trigger guard, sideplate, etc. on one of these? I guess I'm just fishing for ideas.

I made a different side plate to give mine a different look.

Here is a link to a post I did about "kit-bashing" my Kibler Colonial  https://americanlongrifles.org/forum/index.php?topic=67642.msg677857#msg677857
