Konigsberg Digital Targets
« on: March 01, 2024, 08:24:59 PM »
Went to a range here in Georgia. Run by the Georgia DNR. Targets are set in pairs or more at 25,50,100, 100+ yards. Really cool. Your shoot from your stand and when the projectile hits, it shows up on a screen in your stand. No paper targets! It tells your group. Green are the first hits and yellow is the last. I LOVE it!

I was shooting my original Danish Jaeger .70cal. 75grains, 2ffg, .656 round ball. Cast myself! First time shooting it. I hope to get better.

Nice crown, Bill.

A .656" ball in a .70 cal rifle, sounds a wee bit on the small side.
Do you use sail canvas for a patch?

That is pretty cool.
What does the target that you aim at look like?

We use ShotMarker here in MT for the suppository matches I shoot but it requires super sonic at the target. Camp Perry Nationals uses Kongsberg.
Shot marker set for 600 yard target and .224 bullet diameter. Its possible to put up any target (carefully centered) and then set the Shot Marker to any target you want for score. Cost about 800 bucks for each target IIRC. Log on as it were a website and use a cell phone, ipad etc to see the shots and get the score.

Camp Perry set for the 200 yard target. Dunno all the details never been to the pits to see how they are set up. This was 2019 and I was not yet wise enough to put on a about 2 clicks right. And 1 or 2 down.

The Swiss Canadian Club (range) in North Vancouver had this "sort" of set-up back in 1972, with TV's at each of the shooting positions to see your target and score the shot
just taken.

Can I post a link to the range I am shooting. Hope I am not violating the Forum with posting a link? Please let me know.

Here is the range and targets. #1 is 25 yards, then #2,3 are 50 yards and then 100. I was shooting at 50yards.
