Lots of people are doing "aged" finishes these days, but the ones that really look right stand out. Much like the Sibley horn they posted a few days ago, when you enlarge the photos and look at the details you see the attention to detail to every aspect on the aging and patination on this rifle - light wear, grime, checks, crackle in the finish, etc. I really like this gun and the finish, it would still be a super gun if he had finished it as "brand new" appearance - great lines, everything looks custom or unique, elegant but reserved decoration. And you see the influences that inspired it, but they have been reinterpreted as something unique to Mr. Brennan's vision.
