A couple of deer I took last season. We’re fortunate (perhaps unfortunate) to have a 12 month season so I can keep my own and any friends/families freezers fairly topped up with venison thanks to the trusty flintlock.

Great! What caliber, load, range, and details after the shot? You started it.

54 cal, 100gr Swiss 2F and 535 balls.
First stag was about 50 or 60 yards, broadside high shoulder down on the spot.
Spike was maybe 15-20 yards, frontal neck shot and down on the spot.
