Old percussion rifle
« on: August 06, 2024, 02:35:03 AM »
Hello everyone,

I inherited this rife from my late grandpa. I was wondering if anyone could help identify it? I’m leaning towards this being a kit from some time back and someone added the coin inlay. Not sure. I welcome thoughts and opinions. Either way, it’s staying in my with just because 😊.

This rifle looks like it was put together from antique parts. The stock looks like it was made by a non-professional, since it lacks lock moldings. But for what it is it seems to be pretty well put together. I’ve seen a whole lot worse.
