Knives indeed
« on: July 18, 2024, 09:30:26 PM »
Lots of new pieces since I last posted, this spans a little bit of time since before I started on one of the auction rifles up to today. All manners of styles and materials!

Well now.  Super looking knives from the Plantersville School.   Great architecture and finishes.  I like them all.  The spiral handle dagger is fairly spectacular.  Love the shell coming off the guard.  Reminds me of swords.   You probably know by I like the pewter bolstered one with the lock-in "lollipop" on each side.  I like everything about that wood handled one.  I am thinking I need to gather up a batch of knives you made for me and pay you to engrave "RW Hill V" on the blades for me.   :-)
Great work Robert.    God Bless,   Marc

Beautiful work as always Robert.
What are the dimensions on that one with the pewter lollipops?

The art is ever evolving, and as a contemporary artist I like to put my own ideas and designs in conjunction with the stylings and principles of the past.
