Cute Little Percussion

The wood behind the breech reminds me of a saw-handle pistol. It would make a nice compact brush hunter. Maybe it was the Winchester 94 of its day. Was it that short when it was made? Who and where was it made?

Yep, looks very similar. Maine. The one I posted was likely cut, not made that short originally.

for some weird reason I kike these and if I were to build one for my own use it would not have that much drop.
The lock is an easy pattern and the left handed one looks like a high end lock.
