Shape of Chambers American Flintlock pistol Entry pipe
« on: September 21, 2024, 11:57:08 PM »
I've looked at (what I think) over a hundred flintlock pistols and searched for a pic of Chambers American Flintlock pistol from the bottom to see what shape (flare or wedge) the entry pipe is.

From what I've found it appears that pistols made during the late 1700's had a wedge shape entry pipe.

If anyone could tell me what the shape should be, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Give Chambers a call…I’ve asked them about various shapes, parts and pieces and they’ve always obliged with sending pictures.

Well, I did not buy their kit and I don't feel I have the right to ask them something when I've not purchased from them, and I'm essentially doing a copy of their product.

For the most part, I think pistols of that era had wedge shaped entires. So, that's what I'll go with.
