A beautiful hand forged knife by blade smith Chad Matthews. Chad coal forged the blade from a 1938 Chrysler leaf spring and the blade carries his touch mark. The blade measures approx. 8.75" with the overall knife being 13.5" The blade design features a false edge on top with a very pleasing distal taper. The deer antler tine handle has been polished and is very comfortable in the hand.
The custom sheath was made by myself and features an inner vegetable tanned cowhide sheath with an outer bark tan deer hide sheath that is completely hand sewn with linen cord. The sheath has a cross draw design that will fit just "under" a 1.5" wide belt. The sheath also has a deer raw hide tip.
Chad said that this was one of his favorite knives he has made.
