8 pt with the Bruton
« on: December 25, 2024, 05:35:25 PM »
Dont seem to be many posting deer anymore an I think we need a little more of that. Here is one I got this week with my Don Bruton rifle. Shot was about 25 no more than 30 yds. In a thicket an he stopped in a perfect hole for a neck shot. 8 pts with 16 in inside spread. Real good mass on this deer. The pics aint that good being just a cheap cellphone so excuse them please. The weight is just a guess but ill call it about 190

Nice buck! Where did you hunt?

Congrats!!  And great pics.  Im tired of seeing deer pics in the back of truck, garage floors, back of 4 wheelers, gutted so u cant see how big the buck is.  Well done!

Yes, nice to see one taken with a flintlock and no 4 wheeler in sight.
