I have for sale a beautiful powder horn I got a while back from noted horner Steve Vance. I really never intended to sell it, but it is time to decrease the collection. The horn is a left side carry and it is 13 1/2" long on the bottom curve and it is about 2 3/4" in diameter at the base. I would guess the slightly flared baseplug is nicely stained maple and it has a ringed finial that appears to be installed in an inlet brass bushing. The neck and nose of the horn are stained a dark, lustrous shade of brown which leads into a nicely engrailed body. The mostly white body of the horn is tastefully antiqued. Eight small wooden pins hold the baseplug in place. The horn is air tight.
