Gun maker, Fred Kern, Indiana. 1960's and 1970's

Hi, Kip Kern here, new member to this forum but not new to Longrifles. I was searching for any info on my father's muzzleloaders out there. He started building rifles in the sixties and seventies and became very good at the craft. Being his youngest son, I ate, slept, and lived Longrifles. Honestly,  I  think I  was raised at Friendship  Indiana as we attended the spring, summer and fall shoots for most of my childhood.  I still have my personal 40 caliber Longrifle he built for me to compete at various shoots we attended and was wondering if any of his rifles were still out there, most likely in collections, by now. At 66, I still shoot at my back yard range here in South Carolina.  If using black powder, mostly Colt and Ruger handguns. Thanks for the neat site, and for all your time. Just searching for dads gun history.  He built, sold, traded over a hundred rifles during his time.
