Well made haversack by Julie Swartz. The haversack measures approx. 9" wide by 13" high and has several features including; completely hand sewn with linen thread, "heavy" linen outer, double sewn side seams, inside upper leather re-enforcement, lined with checked linen, inside back panel pocket 6" by 4" high. Quilted flap with beautiful hand embroidery work by Julie, hand dyed in walnut hull dye. The haversack has a 4-5 oz. cowhide strap with an antique brass buckle for adjustment. Flap secures with two aged bone buttons. A well made haversack ready for the spring woods today.
