Gee Wiz. Years ago I thought I would like to own an John or Joe Manton.  I wonder what they might fetch ?b :-\

What kind? Cased pistols? Shotgun? Half-stock rifle? Some of the Manton guns are certainly very expensive, but there are often examples that a fairly reasonable.:

If what sold? The Hawken. Yes, the price realized of $94,000 is listed on the website.

That was a great looking Hawkin but for the price I'm happy with the one ken Netting made for me, copied from an original. Walnut stock cut in 1946, Bill Large barrel and all hardware made by Eddie Myers including brazed butt plat lock and triggers.

I've posted pictures before taken in the 80s of a Christian Hawken rifle a friend of mine owned. A rare bird I would think.
