smaller locks

I just got a pre-carved Dickert Stock from Pecatonica to start my son's first rifle.  I'd hoped to be able to use either the caywood or davis early English that I have but it's going to be a tight fit in the pre-shaped lock panel. I'd like to stay with an English style lock. Have any of you guys used the Chambers "Queen Anne" pistol lock or the Davis round faced "Becky" for a rifle project.  I'd appreciate any thoughts or recomendations.

My son has a Chambers Queen Anne pistol lock on his little rifle.
Nice little lock.
I would think the becky would be awful small.

I designed the "Beckys" lock when I started a rifle for my Daughter and by the time I poured the castings I found it to be to small for her rifle. Her rifle only has a 10 1/2" trigger length and and the rifle is completely built to scale and the lock is still to small.
I would think something the size of a small Siler but in your choise of style would fit well on a reduced size rifle. Good luck
I am building a rifle for my Grandson right now and sure find it a pleasure to build something for a kid

Thanks for the input gentlemen.  Stonewall Creek had the dimensions of the Queen Anne on their website and I think it's going to work a little better.  Mr. Allan, that is a really cool design but after the input I think it's going to be a little small.  I'm pairing with a "b" wieght 38 inch barrel in .50 cal.
