Finally got some pics, but can't figure out how to get them posted. Specs on the rifle are OAL 50", LOP 12-3/4" weight about 5 lbs. If you are interested I'll email them to you.

Ron Borron sells a drawing of a Wm H Keller boy's rifle. Ron took the measurements from the original rifle. The drawings are exact size and very nicely done.

Just another possible choice.

I built a smaller rifle, still have it.  I salvaged a .38cal barrel someone had messed up the breech on.   Shortened it, but I should have gone even more since kids still have trouble shooting it offhand.  Used a pistol flintlock on it, stock out of cherry since it's lighter then most wood, cut down a buttplate to fit propotion wise.  Easy enough to do.  Yes, at one time .38's were out there, you just need a mold to match.

I am going to Jim Chambers Kit assembly class in May to build his little fellers kit for my Wife/
Son and will let you know how that works out.  The plans are to be fancy cherry wood with 34 inch swamped barrel for balance.
