Does anyone know if Mike Cox is still building rifles? His work is shown in Robert Weil's book of contemporary makers. Mike built a beautiful 60 cal rifle many years ago for a friend of mine. He and I were talking the other day and were wondering if Mike was still around. I've seen a couple of his other rifles at the CLA show.

I saw Mike at the CLA show several years ago, carrying a miniature flintlock around.   It was just like all of Mike's work,
outstanding.   He used to make some of the greatest contemporary southern mountain rifles I have ever seen, his work
was always fantastic.........Don

Mike Cox was another understudy of Leonard Meadows. Mike is alive and well and still making some of the most beautiful contemporary rifles and pistols that are being produced today. I talked with him at the Lexington CLA Show last August......Frank
