A great resoruce as shared by one of ours

I was looking at the tail end of the German fowler thread and Stophel's posting of the web link to one of the best resources for quality photos. If you click on the photos at least on some of them a option to have a closer look pops up. the little maginfing glass with a plus sign. Holy cow talk about cool. I added several pictures to my files on engraving and carving. Thanks for sharing the wealth  heres the link

I have gotten several books through Hermann Historica, along with two hunting swords, about a half dozen powder horns, and the "remnants" of a ca 1810 boy's gun.

This was all back when they used Deutschmarks, and the exchange rate was rather better than it is now...
When a reenactor says "They didn't write everything down"   what that really means is: "I'm too lazy to look for documentation."
