His work seems to me to really evoke the originals perfectly.  The guns would fit right in, not stand out as re-designed to be "better" or higher art, or new school.  Just right.  That's the sort of work that I would really like to emulate.

David is my very good friend, and he has built seven pieces for me including my 16ga SXS engraved by Ron Ehlert, another very good friend whom we all miss. I'll be on the way up to spend a little time with David in Pennsylvania before June most probably. I truely value his friendship.
